Does this rifle come with a scope base or rings?
No, it ships without optics or mounting hardware. The receiver is drilled and tapped for standard Winchester 70 bases (long-action footprint). We stock Talley and Leupold bases if you need them.
I saw a note about a return for being ‘too tight.’ What’s that about?
One customer sent his back because the bolt was stiff. Turned out he had an aftermarket chassis that misaligned the receiver. On OEM stocks, the action cycles smoothly. If you’re using a factory stock, you’re good to go.
