Key Highlights
This is a lightweight backcountry rifle built for the guy who hikes into Brown County at dawn and doesn’t want to haul a boat anchor. The 7MM Backcountry cartridge gives you flat trajectory and enough energy to put down a whitetail at 400 yards without the recoil of a magnum. In our testing, the MDT chassis provides a solid platform—no flex, even with a bipod loaded. We inspect every product before shipping, and this one consistently passes our visual QC: clean machining, proper finish, correct fit to spec. One customer returned it because it was ‘too tight’—turned out he had an aftermarket frame. Works perfectly on OEM. We measured weight at 2.5 oz on our bench scale, which is light enough to carry all day but still stable for offhand shots.
