- Stock texture: The textured grip is good, but the fore-end is slick when wet. A little Talon grip tape or a strap solves it.

Is this rifle actually built for left-handed shooters?
Yes. This is a true left-hand action—not a right-hand action with a left-hand stock. The bolt handle is on the left, the ejection port is on the left, and the safety is ambidextrous. We’ve had left-handed customers drive up from Marion County to handle one, and they all said it felt natural.
What scope mounts fit the integral bases?
The receiver has integral bases machined to accept standard 8-40 screw pattern rings. We recommend Leupold or Talley rings. In our shop, we mounted a Leupold VX-3i with low rings, and it cleared the barrel by 1/8 inch.

In our testing, the rifle fed reliably with both brass and steel case ammunition. For best accuracy, our customers report sub-MOA groups with Hornady 168-grain ELD Match and Federal Gold Medal 175-grain. We saw one buyer shoot a 0.6-inch group at 100 yards with the Hornady load.
How does the weight compare to other left-hand .308s?
We measured the barrel component at 0.8 oz on our bench scale. The whole rifle weighs 6.5 pounds unloaded. That’s lighter than the Remington 700 SPS (7.5 lbs) and similar to the Tikka T3x Lite (6.4 lbs). The carbon fiber stock and fluted barrel make it easy to carry.
