Does the 2.1 oz weight include the scope and rings?
No — that weight is for the bare rifle as it ships from Weatherby. It does not include optics, rings, or a loaded magazine. The rifle is exceptionally light for a factory hunting rifle, making it easy to carry all day.
Will this feed steel case ammunition reliably?
Yes. We tested this rifle with both brass and steel case ammo in our shop, and it fed and ejected every round without issue. The AICS-pattern magazine and action are well-designed for mixed ammunition types.
Is the HUSH system compatible with any suppressor?
The barrel is threaded 5/8-24, which is a common standard for .30-caliber suppressors. You can mount most direct-thread or QD suppressors that use that thread pitch. The integral brake also helps reduce recoil even without a suppressor attached.
