Does this rifle come with a scope or rings?
No. The Savage 110 Carbon Tactical ships as a bare rifle with a muzzle brake and one 10-round magazine. You’ll need to add your own optics and rings. The receiver is drilled and tapped for Savage’s standard two-piece scope base pattern.
What is the twist rate, and can it shoot heavy bullets?
1:8 twist. It stabilizes 140-147 grain projectiles without issue. You’ll get good results with the Hornady 140 ELD-M or Berger 140 Hybrid for long-range work.
Is this rifle left-hand friendly?
This particular model is right-hand only. The bolt handle and ejection port are on the right side. We do carry a left-hand version of the 110 Carbon Tactical, but it’s a separate SKU. Contact us if you need that model.
