Will the RDB Defender run steel-case ammo?
Yes. We’ve tested it with a few brands of steel-case 5.56 and .223, and it cycled fine. The gas system is adjustable, so if you run into issues with weaker loads, you can dial it in. Most customers report no problems with standard steel-case.
What optics mount directly to the top rail?
The top rail is a standard Picatinny, so any optic with a Picatinny or Weaver base will work. Red dots like the Aimpoint PRO or Holosun 403 series are popular choices. You don’t need any special adapter plates.
Does this come with a case or any extras?
