What Buyers Ask
Does this come with scope bases or rings?
No, it does not. The receiver is drilled and tapped for standard Remington 700-style bases (4-40 screws). You’ll need to pick up a set of bases and rings separately. We stock a few options if you need them.
Is the barrel threaded under the cap?
Yes. The factory cap covers the 1/2×28 threads. It comes torqued on, but you can remove it with a 5/8″ wrench. The threads are clean and well-cut — no burrs.
