Does the P226-X LEGION come with the Grayguns trigger?
No, this model uses SIG’s factory Legion trigger system. It’s lighter than a standard P226 trigger but not the aftermarket Grayguns version. We’ve found it breaks clean at 6.5 lbs DA / 4.0 lbs SA out of the box.
Is this pistol optics-ready?
Yes, the P226-X LEGION has a milled slide with a removable plate. It fits SIG’s ROMEO1, ROMEO1 Pro, and ROMEO2 optics. You can also use an adapter plate for other red dots.
How many rounds should I break it in with before carrying?
We recommend 50 rounds of standard-pressure 9mm to seat the recoil spring and check function. After that, it’s ready for carry. We’ve seen a few need 100 rounds to get the DA pull to settle in, but 50 is the norm.
