Is this the same M17 issued to the military?
Yes. This is the commercial version of the U.S. Army’s M17 sidearm. It shares the same design, controls, and reliability standards. The only difference is the markings — yours won’t have U.S. property stamps.
Will this fit a Safariland 6360 holster?
Yes, it fits most Safariland holsters molded for the M17 with a thumb safety. We recommend the 6360 ALS/SLS or the 7TS series. If you’re not sure, give us a call — we carry both the pistol and the holsters.
Does this come with the optic mounting plate?
It comes with a removable cover plate installed. If you want to mount a red dot, you’ll need to buy the correct adapter plate separately (sold on our site). The slide is cut for the Delta Point Pro footprint.
