Does this rifle come with a scope or mounts?
No. The B-14 Sierra Wilderness is sold as a rifle only. It has a drilled and tapped receiver for standard Remington 700 bases, so you can mount your own optics. We stock Talley and Leupold bases if you need them.
Is the barrel threaded for a suppressor?
No, the barrel is not threaded. The fluted barrel is designed for weight reduction and heat dissipation, not suppressor mounting. If you need a threaded barrel, check out the Bergara B-14 HMR series.
What’s the difference between the Sierra Wilderness and the standard B-14?
The Sierra Wilderness features a fluted barrel and a Burnt Bronze Cerakote finish for better corrosion resistance. The standard B-14 has a blued barrel and a plain black stock. The action and barrel quality are the same. We’ve had a customer drive 3 hours to pick this up instead of waiting for shipping—that says something about the finish.
