What Buyers Ask
Is this the same as the standard MK25?
Yes, except for the California-required features: a loaded chamber indicator on top of the slide and a magazine disconnect that prevents firing without a magazine inserted. The barrel, trigger, and internals are identical to the standard MK25.
Will aftermarket sights fit on this model?
Yes. We’ve tested Trijicon HD and AmeriGlo sights on this pistol — both fit the dovetail without any filing or fitting. The factory SIGLITE night sights are also tritium, so you’re good out of the box.
Can I remove the magazine disconnect?
Some owners do, but it requires disassembly of the fire control unit and removal of a small lever. It’s not a quick job. If you’re in California, removing it may put you out of compliance. We recommend leaving it as-is unless you’re moving out of state.
