This used Mossberg 500 is a modern production 12 gauge pump-action shotgun with a 28-inch vent rib barrel, a 3-inch chamber and a screw-in choke. The blued metal carries a Picatinny rail optic mount and a Velcro shell carrier, while the forearm and Magpul butt stock are painted FDE. The listing rates the bore as excellent. The spec sheet lists the condition as used, and the type as a pump shotgun.
For an Indiana buyer this gun fits the statewide firearms deer season from November 14 to 29, 2026, where shotguns firing slugs from 10 to 28 gauge are legal. The optic rail and shell carrier make it a configurable pump for field or range use. The listing notes wear and some paint flaking on the forearm, plus normal-use wear on the metal, so inspect those areas before you commit.
