Description
The KRISS Vector CRB Gen 3 in .45 ACP is a carbine that actually tames the recoil of the big .45 round. We added this to our catalog in January 2026, and it’s been a reliable seller with consistently positive customer feedback. This is the 16-inch barrel model with a 30-round magazine, finished in black. It’s for shooters who want a flat-shooting, fast-handling carbine with serious stopping power. The key benefit is the Super V system, which redirects recoil straight back instead of up, keeping you on target for follow-up shots. We’ve had a customer drive three hours to pick this up instead of waiting for shipping — that says something.
- Super V Recoil System — Redirects felt recoil and muzzle climb down into the stock, not up. Makes rapid fire in .45 ACP feel like a .22.
- Gen 3 Upgrades — Improved bolt catch, last-round bolt hold-open, and a more robust magazine release. The Gen 3 also has an integrated QD sling mount on the receiver.
- 16″ Barrel + 30-Round Magazine — Full-length barrel meets ATF rifle requirements. Comes with one 30-round Glock-pattern magazine in .45 ACP.
- Ambidextrous Controls — Safety, magazine release, and charging handle are all reversible or ambi. Lefties can run this without a second thought.
- Full-Length Top Rail — M1913 Picatinny rail from the receiver to the handguard. Mount optics, lasers, or a light without needing an adapter.

Does this take Glock 21 magazines?
Yes, it uses standard Glock 21 .45 ACP magazines. The included 30-round mag is a Glock-pattern stick. It will also accept Kriss factory 30-round mags.
Is the Super V system worth the extra weight?
We’ve handled this carbine on the range. The Super V system makes a real difference — you’ll feel the recoil push straight back into your shoulder instead of the muzzle jumping. It’s especially noticeable when shooting fast. The weight is well-balanced, and the carbine doesn’t feel nose-heavy.
Can I mount a suppressor on the 16-inch barrel?
The barrel is not threaded from the factory. You’ll need to have a gunsmith thread it or use an aftermarket adapter. Note that the Super V system’s bolt travel may require a Nielsen device (piston) for reliable cycling with a suppressor.
