Can I use standard AR-15 magazines with this rifle?
Yes, the RDB Defender accepts standard AR-15/M16 magazines. It ships with a 20-round Magpul PMAG, but any mil-spec magazine will work.
Does this rifle come with iron sights?
No, it does not include factory iron sights. The top rail is ready for your choice of optics or backup sights. We’ve confirmed Trijicon and AmeriGlo sights fit without issue.
Is the trigger any good? Bullpup triggers are usually mushy.
Kel-Tec improved the trigger on the Defender series. It’s a single-stage trigger with a clean break at around 6.5 lbs — better than most bullpups and a lot of standard AR triggers.
