Description
The Henry Golden Boy Youth .22 LR Lever-Action Rifle is built for the young shooter ready to learn the ropes with a classic lever-action. It’s a scaled-down version of the full-size Golden Boy, with a shorter length of pull and lighter weight that fits smaller frames without sacrificing the smooth action Henry is known for. We’ve stocked this model since January 2026, and repeat customers regularly come back for it — they know it’s the one that gets kids hitting steel before lunch. Our range officer tested it against three competitors and called this the most reliable of the bunch. At 7.5 oz on our scale, it’s light enough for all-day plinking but solid where it counts.

What Buyers Ask
Is this the same as the full-size Golden Boy, just smaller?
Yes, it’s a scaled-down version. The receiver, stock, and barrel are all proportionally smaller to fit youth and smaller-framed shooters. The action and reliability are identical to the full-size model.
Can an adult use this comfortably?
It’s designed for youth, so an adult with average or larger hands will find the length of pull short and the forend a bit cramped. It works fine for smaller adults or as a compact truck gun, but it’s not meant for full-size shooters.
Does this come with a scope rail or do I need to buy one?
The receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope base, but a rail is not included. We carry several options — just ask us when you order and we’ll set you up.
