Does this rifle come with a scope base or rings?
No. The receiver is drilled and tapped for Remington 700 bases (8-40 screws). You’ll need to buy bases and rings separately. We carry several options in-store.
Is the carbon barrel accurate enough for long-range hunting?
Yes. The carbon wrap is structural, not cosmetic. These barrels hold sub-MOA with quality factory ammo. We’ve seen customers shoot 1/2 MOA with handloads. The .300 Win Mag pushes 180-200 grain bullets well past 800 yards.
How is the packaging when shipped?
Honestly, the box is a little flimsy for our taste — the product itself is perfect, but we add extra padding and a second box on our end before it goes out. You won’t get a beat-up rifle.
