Does this rifle come with scope mounts or a rail?
No, the X-Bolt 2 Speed ships without any mounting hardware. It has a drilled and tapped receiver that accepts standard Browning X-Bolt bases or Picatinny rails. We carry both in-store if you need them.
Will this fit a Gen4 or Gen5 scope base?
Our staff noted a slightly tighter fit on Gen4 frames compared to Gen5 — not an issue, just noticeable. Stick with X-Bolt-specific bases for a drop-in fit. If you’re using a rail, you might need to lightly file the recoil lug channel on Gen4 models.
Is the 7mm PRC ammo hard to find right now?
